SLABDESK · Public Beta
Privacy Policy
1. What we store in your browser
Features such as your collection, watchlist, saved screens, alert settings, and workspace layouts are saved in your browser’s local storage on your device. This data is not sent to or held on our servers during beta, and it is not shared with anyone. Clearing your browser storage will erase it. These are not advertising or tracking cookies — they exist only to make the features work.
2. Analytics
We use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to measure aggregate usage and page performance — for example, which screens are visited and how fast pages load. These tools are designed to be privacy-friendly and do not build advertising profiles. We also record coarse, non-identifying product events (such as “a card panel was opened” or “a search was run”) to understand the core funnel. We do not collect your name, email, or payment information, because we don’t ask for it.
3. Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting and infrastructure providers process standard technical information needed to deliver and secure the service — such as IP address, browser type, and request logs. This is used for operation, security, abuse prevention (including rate limiting), and debugging, and is retained only as long as reasonably needed.
4. Third parties
SLABDESK aggregates data from and links out to third-party marketplaces. When you follow a link to a marketplace, that site’s own privacy policy governs your activity there; we have no control over it. Our core service providers include our hosting and analytics platform (Vercel) and our backend/database infrastructure.
5. Your choices
You can clear locally stored data at any time through your browser settings, which resets your collection, watchlist, and preferences. You can also block analytics using standard browser privacy tools or extensions; the terminal will continue to work.
6. Children
SLABDESK is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect their information.
7. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the product changes — for instance, when we introduce accounts and server-side profiles. Questions about privacy can be sent to hello@slabdesk.xyz.
